Q: What is International Junior Miss Australia and who is the Director?

A: International Junior Miss Australia is an opportunity to compete for the coveted IJM International titles, cash prizes, travel opportunities, and awards, and is run by Lucinda Ferguson. Q: I'm new to pageants - can I still enter?

A: Of course! Pageants are a great way to enter into the world of modeling, build your confidence, make new friends and give back to your community! It can also lead to international travel and amazing opportunities around the world with like minded people! You're going to love it, we promise!

Q: How many divisions are there and how do I know which I should be entering?

A: This year we are crowning 4 Australian title holders!

• Jr. Teen: 13-15 years old

• Teen: 16-18 years old

• Miss: 19-24 years old

• Ms.: 25-39 years old

At the International Final, there are other divisions for younger delegates, however we are not running any junior divisions in Australia currently. If you are interested in competing at International Junior Miss in the Princess, Jr Pre-teen or Pre-Teen division as an at-large delegate, please email us.

Q: How much does it cost to apply?

A: There is no cost to apply! If your application is successful, there is a $50 Registration Fee.

Q: When and where is IJM Australia being held this year?

A: We have selected our 2025 'Team Australia' - applications open 1st September '25 for the IJM Australia 2026!

Q: What are the areas of competition in Australia? 

A: There are 5 areas of competition - Photogenic, Fun Fitness, Pageant Fashion Wear, Evening Gown and Interview.

Q: Do I need to make Appearances? 

A: No! We encourage you to give back by volunteering and via fundraising, but Appearances are not part of International Junior Miss Australia. 

​

Q: Are there any height or weight requirements? 

A: Absolutely not! We celebrate health and kindness, not unrealistic expectations of your appearance. 

​

Q: Do I need professional photographs to apply? 

A: Not at all - when you apply, you just need to submit a clear headshot and full length shot.
